Al Ameen Institute of Para Medical Sciences is affiliated to the Karnataka Nursing and Paramedical Sciences Education (Regulation) Authority Para Medical Board, Bangalore and the college is recognized by the Karnataka Nursing and Paramedical Sciences Education (Regulation) Authority Para Medical Board, Bangalore since 2015.
The Al Ameen Institute of Para Medical Sciences college is attached with Al Ameen Medical College and Hospital and Al Ameen Dental College and Hospital with well equipped departments, including Medical Laboraroty, Radiology, General Surgery d and Prosthodontics. All departments are equipped with the latest facilities.
The Paramedical courses are recognized by the Karnataka Nursing and Paramedical Sciences Education (Regulation) Authority Para Medical Board, Bangalore.

I extend a hearty welcome to students from all over India and many parts of the world to
Al-Ameen Medical Institutions, to embark on a very special journey: A journey, which you could
treat like a pilgrimage into your individual and our collective future.

We are indeed well prepared for this important occasion in this sprawling 200-acre campus
amidst the historical background of the legacy of the monuments, art, architecture and the
glory of the Adil Shahi Dynasty: In our own way; in the last two decades we have been able
to develop world-class infrastructure and facilities that we hope will draw many young
people like you, once again to this historic city of Bijapur.
At the Al Ameen Medical institutions, you will be exposed to the best facilities and the
best practices in the field of medicine. To this end, the hospital stationed within the
campus will provide you the campus will provide you the opportunity of real life experience
which will help you practice the theory you study in your classrooms. Hopefully: by the end
of five years, you would have become a professional and will be ready to share your learning
and skills with the world.

He joined as K.A.S. Probationer in 1977, when he was still doing his post graduation, he did his Ph.D. in Business Administration from California, USA.

He served as Assistant Commissioner, Rent and Accommodation Controller, Bangalore City, as Commissioner, Mysore Urban Development Authority. He served as Deputy Secretary & Officer on special duty to Sri. VeerapaMoily, Sri. S.R. Bommai, Sri. H.D. Devegowda and Sri J.H. Patel when they were Chief Ministers. He also served as Private Secretary to Governor of Karnataka during President Rule.
He resigned as Deputy Commissioner when he was appointed as a Member of Karnataka Public Service Commission.
He has traveled officially to U.S.A., Canada, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Denmark, Holland, Belgium, Sweden, Luxemburg, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Malaysia and Bangkok

Al-Ameen Medical College at Bijapur was started during the month of September, 1984 with the untiring efforts of Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, the Founder of Al-Ameen Movement and now being nurtured by Mr. Ziaulla Sheriff, President, Al-Ameen Charitable Fund Trust and team of Trustees efficiently. Al-Ameen Medical College, Bijapur offers undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses in almost all the clinical departments. A number of students have secured placements abroad, with high percentile marks in the USMLE examination. In addition to academic excellence, students of this College have consistently performed well at different cultural, literary and sports activities. Institution has a highly qualified and dedicated faculty, both in basic and clinical departments and have received recognition at both national and international level.

In healthcare services also it has set new standards and attracts a large number of patients not only from the Bijapur district, but from the neighboring states as well. It has well developed services across all specialties and is now in the process of developing super-specialties to provide comprehensive healthcare facilities.
